Essential Skills & Duties:

Guest Relations

  • Be the first and last impression for every guest — approachable, attentive, and solution
    focused
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and
    urgency
  • Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the front desk at all times
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local dining, and attractions
  • Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to service and satisfaction

Operations Excellence

  • Manage check-in, check-out, and reservation processes accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and chargebacks in compliance with hotel
    procedures
  • Submit shift reports and maintain front desk documentation
  • Adhere to hotel security protocols, including key control and after-hours procedures
  • Support housekeeping and maintenance coordination to resolve guest issues
  • Follow cleanliness and safety standards for the lobby and front desk area

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous front desk or hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational habits
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy setting
  • A team-player mindset and positive attitude
  • Ability to stay composed and professional under pressure

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout your shift
  • Lift/move up to 25 pounds without assistance

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time, hourly position with variable scheduling
  • Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on hotel occupancy
  • Fast-paced, guest-centered setting with high interaction
