About the Role
Cardinal Hospitality Management is looking for an energetic, guest-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our team at The Winslow in Winslow, Arizona, and help create memorable bar experiences for every guest. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on high-energy service, knows their way around a bar, and is ready to step into a key guest-facing role.
Essential Skills & Duties:
Guest Relations
- Create a welcoming, approachable atmosphere at the bar
- Anticipate guest needs and handle concerns with a solution-focused mindset
- Ensure every interaction is professional, respectful, and memorable
Operations Excellence
- Prepare and serve beverages in compliance with CHM standards and local laws
- Validate guest identification and manage alcohol consumption responsibly
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout your shift
- Take and deliver beverage and food orders, working with kitchen staff as needed
- Handle payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures
- Sanitize tools, bar tops, and high-touch areas regularly
- Sweep, mop, and reset bar areas at the end of each shift
- Identify and report safety concerns or faulty equipment
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bartending or F&B experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy setting
- A team-player mindset and positive attitude
- Ability to stay composed and professional under pressure
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout your shift
- Lift/move up to 25 pounds without assistance
Work Environment:
- This is a part-time, hourly position with variable scheduling
- Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on hotel occupancy
- Fast-paced, guest-centered setting with high interaction
